Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets can be purchased in advance. We highly recommend that you purchase tickets in advance, as sails do sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the day that you prefer, please book well in advance!
What happens if it rains?
Most of our sails will run in all light rain and other moderate weather conditions. In the rare event that we have to cancel a sail due to severe wind or weather, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your tickets or receive credit for a future event or receive a refund.
What food and drinks are included?
Soda and snacks such as nuts or pretzels are complimentary throughout the cruise and included in the price of your ticket. You are also welcome to bring beer or wine aboard but please no smoking.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Sure! You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, but please remember that glass bottles are not allowed on board and smoking is never allowed. We also recommend bringing a small bag with any items you'd like to have with you during the trip.
Is the trip suitable for pregnant women?
Our boats are gentle and pregnant women shouldn't have any problems, but if you are pregnant and concerned, you should check with your doctor before attending.
Is the boat handicapped accessible?
The vessel is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, but the crew is trained to assist you during boarding and disembarking. If you have further questions or concerns, please call and let us know about your particular situation.
Are there restrooms on board?
Yes, there is a clean restroom on board for your convenience.
Can children come?
Of course! We even have our First Mate coloring books and crayons available for kids if they get bored. All passengers must have a ticket in order to attend (due to Coast Guard regulations).
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving a 15 minutes beforehand, but the absolute deadline is 5 minutes early. Please be respectful of other passengers and do not arrive late or you will miss the boat.
What should I wear?
Wear casual clothes (no high heels) such as shorts, tee-shirts, caps, etc. Bring a jacket if it's below 70 as the ocean breeze can be chilly...for us Floridians anyhow! Bring a camera to capture all the sights along the way.
Is the boat safe? Do you have life jackets?
Yes! Our vessel is very stable and safe and is crewed by a US Coast Guard licensed Captain. We do have more than enough life jackets onboard. Children ages 6 and under are required to wear them during the sailing portion of the trip while on the upper decks of the vessel.
Will there be music?
Of course! We will play a variety of music including Calypso, Jimmy Buffet, and more to put you in a relaxed tropical mood. We also have a portable bluetooth speaker so you can choose your own playlist on private trips.
Do you offer gift certificates?

Do you offer private charters?
Yes, our vessels are great for any special event or group function. If you're interested in a private charter, please call and let us know!
Can we swim?
At this time, we can’t allow swimming due to insurance regulations.
Is smoking permitted on the boat?
No, smoking is not allowed onboard. Sorry!
What is your cancellation policy?
All passengers will need a ticket regardless of age or participation of activities Our staff and crew at Sail Cocoa Beach will strive to give you the best possible service and at the same time make every effort to insure your trip is both enjoyable and successful. Sail Cocoa Beach has a ZERO tolerance drug policy on all our vessels. If illegal drugs are discovered onboard, the trip will be terminated immediately and return to the dock without a refund. Although we rarely cancel trips, we do reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason whatsoever, including too few participants, adverse weather, mechanical failures, or circumstances which make the operation of the trip inadvisable. If we cancel a trip as aforementioned; we will refund all payments in full which were made to Sail Cocoa Beach. Cancellations due to weather or mechanical failures which occur during a trip will be prorated and the appropriate amount will be refunded. Cancellations made by clients at least 7 days prior to the scheduled date of your reservation will receive a full refund. Cancellations made by clients at least 72 hours (3 days) prior will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made by clients with less than 72 hours (3 days) to their reserved activity are non-refundable. Weather: This is a weather permitting activity. As we are outside on the water, safety is our first concern! If your trip happens to be cancelled due to weather related issues, we will notify you ASAP by email or phone. There is no fee to reschedule if we issue a Captain cancellation. No call, no show - You forfeit your payment. If you don't show up at departure time, your tickets will be considered a No Show and forfeit your reservation (this includes vouchers). Please be at the tour location 15 minutes before your scheduled departure as the boat will leave at the scheduled departure time. If you are running late, please call 321.328.5558 to notify us so we do not mark you as a no show.
